Villas in residential lanes are the most sensitive. A celebration that works at a beach shack can disturb a village at night, so keep speakers modest and move the party indoors as the evening winds down.
Neighbours are the reason these rules exist, and a little goodwill goes a long way. Introduce yourself to your caretaker, ask whether anything nearby is sensitive — an elderly neighbour, a newborn, an exam period — and adjust accordingly.
